We hope you’ll join us for this very special day at the Barn with a winemaker lunch featuring Division Winemaking Company’s owner and winemaker, Tom Monroe!
Division Winemaking Co’s motto is “delicious wines mades for good times,’ and we can totally get behind that! Today: a good time, for sure, as we celebrate spring - and wine! - with a long, wine country-inspired, French-y, open-fire grilled lunch as we get to know Tom and learn all about Division’s Oregon-made wines.
this is an all-inclusive event (wine, lunch, etc.)
please be aware of the Barn’s cancellation policy before signing up
A little about Oregon’s Division Winemaking Company:
Led by Kate Norris and Thomas Monroe, Division Winemaking Company crafts responsible wines with story and purpose.
Division represents a fresh generation of curious winemaking looking beyond the status quo to create unique wines from diverse grape varieties with both intention and a story.
Determined to make minimal intervention, approachable and balanced wines with great price to quality value, the winemakers work with terroir-expressive vineyards, focused on organic, regenerative and/or Biodynamic farming.
Meet Tom:
Thomas Monroe, Owner & Winemaker
Tom Monroe is the co-owner & co-winemaker of Division Winemaking Company. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and enjoyed his time in the Midwest watching Cardinals baseball games, helping his grandfather on their family farm and working for various restaurateurs and rock bands in the region and in Colorado where he went to college.
After completing a program in enology and viticulture and working in wineries in France’s famed Loire Valley, Beaujolais and Burgundy regions, Tom moved to Oregon to make wine with Kate in 2010. Tom strives to make nuanced wines that are driven by vineyard and vintage character, or terroir, while keeping things simple and minimal in the cellar. Outside of the winery, Tom adores spending time with his young son and wife and enjoys skiing, live music, hiking in the Pacific Northwest, and traveling, eating and drinking wines throughout the world.
