I LOVE paella! And, I love Tapas! And, I love Spanish wines! Today, we will have all of the above!! Olé!
How about we pretend we’re sauntering along Barcelona’s Las Ramblas this afternoon, popping into each atmospheric tapas bar we pass? We’ll order amber glasses of vermouth and endless tiny plates of fun, interesting bites. We will dig into plates of acorn-fattened hams and salty cheeses and every little delicious oily and pickled thing we can get our hands on! All the while, we will learn the culture, history and regional varieties of traditional Spanish tapas.
And, we will stand around the fire, learning the art + history of paella, not unlike the shepherd’s who first created it under the stars, all while keeping one vigilant eye on their flock. Lunch will be outside under the big oak, weather permitting.

*We will be outside for a portion of this class, weather permitting. In the event of poor weather, we will simply remain in the Barn’s kitchen + dining room.

cooking classes + creative workshops
+ Cooking classes and creative workshops are always small, hands-on, laid-back, focus on what’s in season, and culminate with a festive, shared meal.
+ Once purchased, your class or workshop tuition is non-refundable, but you may have someone attend in your place if you are unable to attend.
+ If the class or workshop must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of the Barn, you will have the choice of scheduling a new class or workshop or receiving a complete refund.
+ The Barn is surrounded by hills, grassy areas, rocks, and changes in elevation. Please dress appropriately, comfortable footwear and an extra layer of warmth is recommended.
