Spring! If y’all can’t tell, I am super excited that it is Spring! When I begin to look forward to warmer weather, what I am mostly looking forward to is really cold, really crisp, really fresh sparkling wine time!! And, picnics!
For today’s class, the Barn’s resident Beverage Babe, Abby Powell, will teach us all about the breathtakingly bubbly world of sparkling wine!
BUBBLES!! I am pretty sure that there is not a beverage that I would prefer to drink!! And, when I think of my favorite food and wine pairings … there are so many fun and festive bites to nibble on with Champagne, Prosecco, Cava and more. On a picnic blanket in the shade, it is pretty much my idea of HEAVEN!!
In the kitchen, we’ll learn all about the foods that we really love to make and serve when we have a day off, the air is cool, the sun is shining and a picnic blanket is calling our name!
Lunch will be a lovely picnic-style affair in the shade of the Oak tree (weather permitting.)

+ Cooking classes and creative workshops are always small, hands-on, laid-back, focus on what’s in season, and culminate with a festive, shared meal.
+ Once purchased, your class or workshop tuition is non-refundable, but you may have someone attend in your place if you are unable to attend.
+ If the class or workshop must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of the Barn, you will have the choice of scheduling a new class or workshop or receiving a complete refund.
+ The Barn is surrounded by hills, grassy areas, rocks, and changes in elevation. Please dress appropriately, comfortable footwear and an extra layer of warmth is recommended.
