We hope you’ll join us for the third installment of this year’s annual three-part winter wine club + cooking class lunch series at the Barn! It is one of my favorite times of year here at the Barn…we have the opportunity to slow down and learn about new things and eat allllll the cozy things!
Winter Wine Club, Part THREE:
A glorious wine-producing region in Italy that is often overlooked for its more famous neighbors, the Veneto in the northwest part of the country is home to Prosecco + Pinot Grigio and so much more. It is also home to Venice. Although, an extremely famous tourist area, the cuisine here is actually not well-known (or considered very good, thanks tourism). We will deep dive into the gorgeous wines grown here and investigate the historic and beautiful sea-influenced foods…particularly the festive foods of the famous Venetian Carnivale Season!
We will cook together in the kitchen and then enjoy a cozy lunch of what we’ve prepared in the Barn’s dining room.
During today’s wine club cooking class + lunch, the Barn’s resident Beverage Babe, Abby Powell, will teach us all about this beautiful style of wine.
* If you wish to attend all three Wine Wine Club classes, you can save $10 per class. Please contact me for info on how to book.

cooking classes + creative workshops
+ Cooking classes and creative workshops are always small, hands-on, laid-back, focus on what’s in season, and culminate with a festive, shared meal.
+ Once purchased, your class or workshop tuition is non-refundable, but you may have someone attend in your place if you are unable to attend.
+ If the class or workshop must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of the Barn, you will have the choice of scheduling a new class or workshop or receiving a complete refund.
+ The Barn is surrounded by hills, grassy areas, rocks, and changes in elevation. Please dress appropriately, comfortable footwear and an extra layer of warmth is recommended.
